| No it's not cheese... it's a fried egg! |
So while, I collect my royalties for my lil Red Robin plug, I will show you how I made my own fried egg burger at home.
It's really easy.
What you need:
1 lb ground beef ( grass fed if possible)
4-5 bacon slices chopped
1 bushel of green onions, chopped
1 egg per burger
Lettuce to wrap, I used green leaf, but I like butter the best
In a bowl, mix the beef, bacon, and green onions together. Form patties out of the mixture cook how you like it.

| YUM! Diego loved it! |
Make sure you wash your lettuce before you wrap.
All you need to do is place the burger in the lettuce wrapper and place the egg on top, then add other burger condiments and wrap up!

I assume uncooked bacon, otherwise I imagine it would get too done....??
ReplyDeleteI get the lettuce wrapped bacon burger with a side salad all the time from Red Robin! Great meal while on the go. Although I like butter or romaine lettuce better then the iceburg they use, holds up better. I have not tried the egg version though...I will need to do that!
ReplyDeletewhat are you trying to be healthy by wrapping it in lettuce?
ReplyDeleteyour eating a friggin FRIED EGG BACON CHEESEBURGER
like it matters whether you wrap it in lettuce or bread
Conventional wisdom pawn.. Animal fats are extremely healthy for you. Good idea on the burger! The tard above me on the other hand... Needs to do some research.
